Thursday

Today was a day mostly spent inside. We did walk Reggie. I had a curbside no-contact delivery from a good friend today. She is a very generous person, and has sewn 200 face masks for hospitals. She also spent her day today delivering some to many of her friends. We do not all live in the same area. This must have taken her hours to do. She delivered four to our door. She truly is a selfless person.

I'm honored to be her friend.

Here's today's yarn bomb addition. A little sign of hope.

  1. Your friend is a saint. I can attest that it took her HOURS to make the masks. I made over 50, and it took me two days. Love your new yarn bomb addition.

    1. She's been making masks for weeks. After she sent the initial bulk to the hospitals, she made sure that all of her friends had them.

  4. How nice that your friend would do that for you! We have to wear masks now and only go out on a certain day that lines up with our last names to shop. We're not going anywhere even so. If I can't get it delivered, we're not getting it.

  6. Your latest yarn bomb addition is a good one. Great thinking on your part!

My friend in Maryland sent me four handmade masks. I'm so grateful for the kindness of friends as well.

Today we are getting MORE snow. My daffodils are perplexed. I'm trying not to despair. Thank you for the HOPE.
